Engine: DURAMAX DIESEL

Horsepower: HP

Suspension: STOCK GMC DURAMAX

Completed:

Talk about diversity. We had to open the door wide to get this project in. It is a 1938 GMC short school bus. The desired outcome is a reliable Oregon State Beaver “tailgate” bus for football games and other trips with family and friends.  It is in for metal work, body work, paint, interior design, and final assembly. The old chassis was discarded and a GMC Duramax chassis was slid under the body in its place. The Duramax will undergo upgrading and all of the used components will be checked out and rebuilt. New wheels will either be selected or designed and installed. The GMC chassis will provide a smooth, safe, and powerful chassis for its may anticipated trips up and down I-5.
