(SOLD) 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Business Coupe, 47,950 actual miles. This car has unbelievable rust free, damage free sheet metal and is as straight as an arrow. There is no rust out anywhere. It is one of the most rust free older cars that I have ever seen. The floor boards are factory original solid. The bottoms of the doors are excellent. The lower 1/4 panels areas are solid and rust free. I can’t rave more about how nice the sheet metal is on this car. There are only a few very minor dings in the trunk lid about the size of a nickel. The running boards are pristine and the tires are in excellent condition. The car has dual wipers, dual sun visors, accessory hood ornament, Deluxe heater in excellent condition, and accessory thermometer exterior side view mirror. The chrome on the bumpers and bumper guards is like new. The interior is basically stock mohair. The headliner is excellent. The carpets have been replaced in the passenger compartment and the trunk where rubber mats were originally. The engine has been replaced with a completely rebuilt 1961 235 cubic inch 6 cylinder and retains the stock 3 speed transmission with the shifter on the steering column (3 on the tree). The car has new brake linings, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, packed front wheel bearings, new fuel sending unit, rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, new water pump, new hoses, new steering shaft bearing, and new stop light switch. The short block and the cylinder head have been completely rebuilt with new hard seats in the head. The radiator has been boiled out and the heater core has been repaired. The fuel tank has been boiled out and sealed and all fuel lines have been cleaned. This car stays at about a 170 degree operating temperature when driving on a 95 plus degree day. It starts at the very touch of the starter pedal. This is not just some rusty old barn find junker, this is truly an exceptional car. Email with your questions.
