1950 Chopped Custom Mercury for sale. This car was built completely by Steve’s Auto Restorations several years ago and has been kept in a climate controlled private car collection since it’s completion. It has been detailed, started, run and driven on the owner’s private property once a month as part of it’s maintenance schedule. The car remains flawless just as it was upon completion of it’s build with very few miles on the odometer. It started it’s build as a stock 2 door Mercury on an original frame. The car is detailed from top to bottom as it underwent a “body off” rebuild. The entire car was built on a 50’s custom theme. The interior is a pristine white full leather creation by Paul Reichlin of Mt. Vernon Washington. Period touches through out the interior were a must. The exterior is painted in a “House of Kolor” kandy red with a tasteful pinstriping touch by Mitch Kim, the “guru” of pinstriping in the Pacific Northwest. Under the hood sits a completely rebuilt flathead with three deuces built by Motor City Flatheads. Period touches lavish the engine compartment also. A 1954 Chevrolet grille with extra dental work sits neatly inside the grille area. Blue dot tail lights adorn the rear. A “Frenched” antenna add to the period correct theme along with the “Sombrero” hubcaps and wide whites. This is a chance to purchase a period correct flawless chopped top Merc for a fraction of what it cost to build.
