Based on: A stock 1956 Chevrolet Nomad
Engine: LS3
Horsepower: 480 HP
Suspension: Independent front & Ford 9
Completed: TBD
A 1956 Chevrolet Nomad family heirloom comes out of a multi year storage period to undergo a full “body off” ground up restoration. This car has been in the same family since the 1950’s. Overall the car is relatively rust free but still needs everything to bring it back to life. The restoration efforts will not bring the car back to a “stock” existence but to a newer version of a “resto-rod”. The car will be based on a new Morrison chassis, an LS3 Chevrolet crate motor with an automatic transmission linked behind it. Many new designed “one-off” components will be machined for the new version of this Nomad. All of the bright work will be chrome plated as well as chrome plating all of the stainless trim pieces.
