1956 Plymouth Fury up for sale. This is the first year of the Fury and the first year of the gold anodized fins. All Furys this year were available in this color only. This is a very nice car with no rust problems. The dash is in great condition. The speedometer registers 91.000 miles and I am inclined to believe that is accurate. This car was originally sold in Portland Oregon and it has spent its entire life in the Oregon and Washington area. The chrome on the bumpers and guards are in excellent condition. Most of the stainless trim is excellent with a few pieces having some life experiencing dings. Some of the original chrome on the window moldings shows some patina. The seats, headliner, and door panels are in good condition. The trunk area is clean and rust free but the spare and jack are missing. I have no idea why as they are missing but they were when I bought the car 10 years ago. This car was originally from the factory a stick transmission car so it does not have the push button automatic transmission pod on the dash. The engine is not the original and has been changed over to a 1970 Cuda’ V-8 and has a 4 speed manual transmission. The car starts, stops, and runs down the road good. The paint is in very good condition and holds a very nice shine with no evidence of cracking or blistering anywhere. I have a clean title for the car. Priced at $32,500.
