Terms and Conditions

This website is owned and operated by Steve’s Auto Restorations Inc. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors a selection of products for sale, information and examples of our services. We reserve the right to refuse service or sales to anyone. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. 

 

Return Policy

Returns must be made within 30 days of invoice date. All returned goods are to be accompanied by a copy of the S.A.R. invoice on which the sale occurred. All returns made without a valid reason for return are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns will not be accepted if the item is damaged, altered, or painted. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges, with exception. Special order items are not eligible for return. 

 

In addition, please note the following: (i) Products can only be returned by the original purchaser; and (ii) The following products are not eligible for return: Louvered deck lids, and made to order items (iii) Returned items without valid reason are subject to a 20% restocking fee. 

Valid reasons for return include:

  • Item does not match the description

  • Incorrect item received

  • Item arrived damaged

  • Incorrect size received

  • Item is out of spec

Non-valid reasons for return include:

  • Change of mind

  • Inability to install

  • Item is no longer needed

  • Bracketing (ordering multiple items with the intent of keeping one)

 

Refund Policy

Refunds due to canceled or returned orders will be remitted only to the original purchaser in the original form of payment. Return orders without a valid reason are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

 

Cancellation Policy

Orders can be canceled if we are immediately notified by phone at (503) 665 - 2222. Cancellations can only be accepted prior to potential customization, shipping and fulfillment. If it is a customized panel or service, example: resilvering reflectors or louvering panels, the order cannot be canceled once work has begun. Orders of ‘off the shelf’ items cannot be canceled after we have shipped them from our facility. If this situation is applicable to you please see our return policy. We reserve the right to cancel (and refund), or refuse custom orders or services for any reason.

Shipping Policy

After your order is placed we pack and weigh the parcel to get an accurate shipping rate to the provided shipping address.  We then email the customer with a separate invoice for the shipping costs.  We hold the order, ready to ship, until the invoice has been paid in full. Once paid the order will ship out within 24 business hours. Crated items require additional time with labor and scheduled freight pickup.

 

Crating Information

Our complete all metal roadster bodies as well as some of our large panels require crating for shipment due to their size and weight. Additional charges are incurred from the crate itself and the labor involved. Additional time is also necessary for these extra steps as well as scheduling freight pickup and delivery. 

Crating Quotes can be accommodated with domestic and approved international orders before purchase with direct contact to our office by email though our contact form or by phone, (503) 665-2222.



 

Additional Fulfillment Information:

Due to our products' large variance in size and weight, automating shipping costs could lead to significant overcharging. We carefully pack each order by hand to optimize size efficiency and choose the best shipping provider for each order to avoid unnecessary shipping expenses. 

 

Select items have the shipping cost included or integrated. They are denoted in the description, or an amount is auto populated in the shipping field. Product items with a shipping cost of $00.01 denotes we will be following up with a separate invoice for an actual accurate shipping cost. Items with integrated shipping costs do not cover the shipping costs of additional items if they will not fit within the same box.

 

Shipping Damages

Report shipping damages or errors to S.A.R. within 5 business days. Always inspect merchandise immediately before signing!

 

Visible Damage:

  • It is the responsibility of the consignee to note any damage on all copies of the freight bill.

  • Take pictures of the damaged merchandise and packaging.

  • The freight bill must be signed by both the consignee and the driver.

Concealed Damage:

  • Retain the box and packaging material.

  • Take pictures of the damaged merchandise and packaging.

  • Contact the carrier within 3 days of delivery and request an inspection.

  • Do not remove items from premises before inspection.

  • Retain a copy of the inspection report.

 

International Orders

We do not guarantee to provide sales and shipping services internationally. We make exceptions to accommodate international orders on a case by case basis. Our website will not accept orders with shipping destinations outside of the U.S.A. Contact us directly to inquire about shipping to your worldwide destination.  Proficient communication in English is required. We are able to ship to third party shipping brokers located within the continental 48 states.  Upon checkout provide their information as the shipping address. We have no affiliation or recommendations for such services, and we accept no liability once the package has left our facility.

 

Guarantee of Our Products

We stand behind what we sell at Steve’s Auto Restorations. We guarantee that our panels and products meet the requirements of their intended application for fitment and function, as well as match the description that we have presented. Our sheet metal and patch panels require skill and prior knowledge of metal fabrication and body work to not only install but properly incorporate seamlessly into a project. 

 

Note: Hand fitment and modifications are commonplace when incorporating old to new.  We are not liable for the lack of ability to install and finish our products in your build, nor are we in any way responsible for the final outcome or revenue loss incurred from poor workmanship. Before beginning work on our products ensure you have a firm grasp on what it entails, and the skill set needed to accomplish it.

As we will continue to honor our commitment to customer satisfaction with replacing any defective or out of spec items please note- once modified, prepped or painted we will not accept any returns or exchanges. We urge our customers to immediately inspect the parts received upon arrival so we can quickly resolve any potential issues, including shipping damages.

When we receive a valid warranty claim for a product purchased from us, we will either repair the relevant defect or replace the product. If we are unable to repair or replace the product within a reasonable time, the customer will be entitled to a full refund upon the prompt return of the product to us. We will pay for shipment of repaired or replaced products to the customer and the customer will be responsible for return shipment of the product to us.

Key Commercial Terms

When buying an item from Steve’s Auto Restorations, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process: (iii) you agree to pay the full shipping cost follow up invoice (if applicable.)

The prices we charge for our products/ services  are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. 

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Steve’s Auto Restorations, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service or product.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Steve’s Auto Restorations assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your use of our or products and services; and (iii) any unauthorized access to any and all personal information stored therein.

Retention of Right to Change Offering

Steve’s Auto Restorations may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.

Ownership of Intellectual Property

The Service and all materials therein or transferred thereby, including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, and all Intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of Steve’s Auto Restorations.inc.  Except as explicitly provided herein, nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such Intellectual Property Rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof.

 

Uploaded Reference Images

You recognize and agree that by uploading any content (including, but not limited to designs, images, animations, videos, fonts, logos, illustrations, compositions, artworks, interfaces, text and literary works) through any means to the website, you confirm that you own all the relevant rights or received the appropriate license to upload/transfer/send the content. You agree and consent that the uploaded/transferred content is internally reviewed by our staff and handled as confidential information not  available to the general public.

 

Right to Change and Modify Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these pages periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our services after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access our website or invoke our services.
